Mathematical puzzle: 2048 is a single-player sliding tile puzzle game that was created by Gabriele Cirulli in 2014. The game is played on a 4x4 grid, with numbered tiles that slide when the player moves them using the arrow keys. The goal is to combine tiles with the same number to create a tile with the value of 2048, or higher. The game is inspired by other similar games, such as Threes and 1024.
Tips:
- Use only two directions (as much as possible). This will help you avoid creating gaps and keep your tiles organized.
- Never move your tiles up (or whichever direction is opposite to your chosen corner).
- Start with the tiles with small numbers on them. Focus on combining the 2s and 4s to create 8s, 16s, and 32s.
- Work your way towards the corners. Try to keep your highest tile in one corner of the board, and fill the row or column next to it with smaller tiles.
- Plan ahead. Before making a move, look at the board and see how it will affect the tiles.
Have fun playing 2048! 😊
